Record and review patient medical history and current health status
Chart conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentist
Apply fluoride and other cavity preventing agents to arrest and prevent dental decay
Placement of dental sealants
Administer local anesthetic agents
Conduct dental health clinics for community groups to augment services of Dentist
Perform intraoral and extraoral examination to detect abnormalities
Examine gingival tissue, using probes, to locate periodontal recessed gingiva and record signs of periodontal disease
Clean calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gingiva using dental instruments
Palpate and visually examine gingiva for sores and signs of disease
