I've been working in the dental office since a teenager. My first job was working back office as a rover. I followed the footsteps of my mother whom worked as a RDAEF my whole life. My sister is also in the dental field. She is a hygienist working in Orange County, CA. I always preferred working upfront with administration. I am great with all computer programs for billing and scheduling. I am a fast learner with any program I have never used before. I have experience working with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental and Practice-Web. I am versatile with both Mac and PC and of course using Word, Excel, Pages and Numbers for documentation creation. There are so many wonderful resources developing all the time so I am constantly looking for new ways to expand my dental education. I have attended many dental seminars and CDA conventions to help keep me up to date. My favorite part of working in front office management is helping the patients with their needs. I spent many years working as a continuing care and treatment coordinator. Helping the patients from start to finish with their dental needs is what brings a smile to face. My goal is to help people feel comfortable while ensuring smooth transactions between doctor and patient.
