Daily tasks consists of opening and closing duties including light housekeeping, laundering towels for sterilization area, taking inventory of instruments/digital x-ray film, taking impressions for bleaching trays, ortho appliances, night guard, set-up and assist with specialty procedures such as endo, oral surgery, ortho, and perio, as well as assisting with special needs/disabled patients.

Responsibilities include partial preparation of charts for billing, chair-side assisting with pulpotomy and stainless steel crown fitting and placement, extraction of primary teeth, coronal polishing, sealant placement, preparation of consent forms, recording medical and dental histories in patient charts, taking x-rays, explaining post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions to parents; while reassuring and comforting small patients.

Back office duties including but not limited to chair-side assisting of endo,oral surgery ,and general dentistry, calling in and dismissing patients, preparing tray set-ups, fabricating temp. crowns & bridges, cavit placement, coronal polishing, post-op instructions, taking and pouring impressions, removing temps, taking x-rays, chair-side whitening (Zoom), fabricating bleaching trays, and night guards, sealants, sterilizing, etc. Front office duties include confirming and scheduling appointments, checking insurance, etc
