Perform all phases of Dental Hygiene as described by the Dental Hygiene Practice Act of California including: scaling and root planing, Polishing, screening for oral cancer using Arestin, taking health histories, administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide, as well as using oraqix, taking and interpreting x-rays, using an intra-oral camera and collecting data.
Consistently build patient rapport by calming nervous patients, teaching oral hygiene care and explaining complex treatments.
Adhere to and promote strict compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Office Sterilization and Asepsis Procedures (OSAP).
Take xrays using Schick, digital pano, Dentrix, Eaglesoft. and Softdent.
Help with some up front tasks including: answering phones and scheduling patients as needed.

CPR-Certified
