Hi my name is Sonia I have been a dental assistant for about 5 years now . Being in this field I have learned a lot of of different skills. Some of the skills I have learned are how to sterlize instruments, take x-rays , take alginate impressions, chair side assist, coronal polish , take off sutures and irrigate the wound with peridex , break down and set up the rooms properly. I have worked with only general dentistry which includes of assisting in crown preps , fillings , root canals , extractions , deep cleanings. I have also leaned in to learning the front I can verify insurance , schedule appointments & call to confirm appointments.
