Career Objective

With 22 years of experience in dentistry I see the big picture. What I believe will result in the best patient outcomes strongly influence my treatment decisions. I enjoy most aspects of general dentistry and particularly enjoy the process of taking people with terminal dentition to implant retained/supported dentures (simple Locators or bar over-dentures). I also enjoy 3rd molar and difficult extractions. I'd like to join an office with a positive and supportive atmosphere, an office where we like to come to work. I believe I contribute to this type of environment. General dentistry with some of the surgical cases I enjoy would be ideal, but I enjoy dentistry in general. In any event I am a team player and like to teach and learn new skills.

Have been performing general dentistry for over 20 years.
Earned Diplomate standing in ICOI--Passed written and verbal exams--submitted evidence of various types of required cases.
Placed and restored over 600 implants in private practice.
Taught beginning implant dentistry for Live Implant Training Centers in The Dominican Republic.
Attended many hands on surgical courses--two 1 week courses with immediate load emphasis.
Most recently attended 4 day surgical/restorative implant course through Affordable; February 13,14,15 and 16 2018. Full mouth extractions with ridge reduction and implant placement. Removed over 100 teeth and placed 32 implants in 2 1/2 days of surgery.
Worked for a year and five months at Affordable Dentures; Extractions/ridge reduction/implants/various types of restorations, and obviously lots of dentures. Involved changing vertical dimension in most cases.

1996-2006 Ramona Dental Group--Employee, General Dentistry with some 3rds and introduction to implants.
2006-2009 Caring Dentistry Of San Rafael--Owner, General Dentistry with implant work making up 25-30% of production.
2009-2016 Caring Dentistry Of San Rafael and six private Bay Area Offices--Continued same work at my own office and in addition did wisdom tooth extractions and implant work for other offices.
2016-2017 Contract Dentist/temp
2017-Present Affordable Dentures El Cajon--Extractions/ridge reduction/implants/various types of restorations, and obviously lots of dentures. Involved changing vertical dimension in most cases.
