Sure, there may be a dental specialty you are very interested in, but you cannot discount another specialty if there are more opportunities in it. You can always take your second-choice job until your first-choice job becomes available.
During your first couple of months in your new job, you may run into a lot of problems where you should ask questions. Be sure to choose appropriate attire and pay close attention to the details like your nails and hair. Employers will pass judgement on you based on your initial appearance, so make sure that you make a good impression.
If you are finding it difficult to get a job in a certain dental specialty, you may want to volunteer in a dental office for free if you can afford it.
In the meantime, you can get a part-time job to help you survive outside of dentistry. Most times the office will hire you if you’re reliable and show you can work hard.
